[ Yeah you know what? He does get this in the middle of the night. Not like he's sleeping much right?

So he huffs and considers replying. But then turns over and tries to finish sleeping. Deku will get the reply in the morning: ]

Did you really send me a half assed message in the middle of the night?

[fullgauntlet]

[He only had a few random hours of sleep himself only because he had stayed up almost all night trying to word this one text message... He rewrote it and fret over it so many times that eventually he passed out on the face of his phone--

... Only to send a draft that was half done--

When he sees the returned message he practically falls out of bed!]

Kacchan?? No! I think I sent that by accident? Don't worry about it. Just forget it!

[He didn't want to send THAT ONE. ABORT.]

[ Oh... Oh Deku is doing the thing isn't he? That thing where he's thinking way too hard about something. Katsuki rubs his face and wants to just. Punch something. ]

[ The nerd shouldn't even have to look at Katsuki to know what that one word means: Spill it and don't waste his time. ]

[Hnnn. He knows exactly what that one message means. He can practically hear the tone through the text. And for a second Izuku really thinks maybe he should just forget it and not reply and just toss his phone into that lake with all the manatees.

But he doesn't do that... There's going to be several (Deku is typing...) for several long minutes.]

I've been thinking about moving out of the Inn?

[Sometime early July after the events at the opening of Celliwig to Camelot's relations... Izuku has a lot on his mind. A lot as in something happened there between him and Ochako. Leaving Izuku with a bit of a distracted mindset for a few days. Feeling a little numb and unable to sleep, wondering how he's supposed to deal with any of this.

How did this happen, anyway. To Midoriya Izuku? He never expected anything like having a girl like him and a new boyfriend at the same time. This is all so hard to deal with...

And Ochako's reaction, how much she cried... What is he supposed to do?

He's sitting there, with a glass in his hand as he doesn't drink his water.]

Ne... Kacchan...? I need to tell you something.

[ Now Bakugou can tell that something is unsettling the nerd. He's pretty much aware of it since they're constantly in each other's spaces. The blonde shares a bed with him even. So yes, he knows something's up. This time he'll wait until Deku comes to him. He will come to Katsuki.

Just like right now. ]

I figured you would be.

[ He looks up. Glances at the water that hasn't even been touched. ]

Something happened, right?

[fullgauntlet]

[He struggles with it slightly, at first. Not one to really keep something like this from Katsuki if he can help it. But it's still hard to bring up. The way that it happened, the weight that it's put on Izuku's shoulders...

Izuku isn't looking at the other boy. His eyes are downcast as he chews nervously on his lip.]

Y-yeah. [Katsuki's keen as ever.] Ahh... Uraraka-san, the other week...

[apshot]

[ Oh. He's chewing his lip. That's... That's not good. Not good at all.

Then Izuku starts to go on about Round Face and he feels his stomach sink a bit. Then he reaches over and baps Deku on the head. ]

Oi. Look up at me when you're talking.

[ Whatever happened between them? It's nothing to be ashamed by and Deku shouldn't hang his head. ]

[fullgauntlet]

Ah...!

[He looks up, looking a little teary-eyed as he remembers everything that happened. The crescendo of her music and her songs. How she cried...]

The other week... Uraraka-san told me she had feelings for me.

[Izuku looks a little torn up. But he doesn't seem to be overly sad. Anxious and still struggling with it, but not overly sad.]

She told me in a song. I think there was magic at work but... it was real. I- I told her how I felt about you.

7/29 - Text; Return from Canon Update

[ A small package arrives at his place on the morning of Christmas. Inside is a pair of stress balls with the ying and yang symbol on them.

There is a poem on the card, about relationships and difficulties. It's signed by Monika. ]

[Since Izuku and Katsuki spend Christmas morning together (fried chicken for lunch too!!) Izuku will make sure that Katsuki's gifts are under the tree for that morning to find as well. While it's strange for Katsuki to stay up late Izuku is actually the first one to bed but he doesn't skip on his Christmas gifts either! Truth be told he'll always be nervous and confident both about giving gifts to Katsuki- thinking he knows him well enough to get what he likes but also terribly nervous that he'll somehow get it all wrong. He just wants his boyfriend to like it! He hopes.]

Under the tree he will find wrapped for Katsuki:

- One pair of leather gauntlets specifally made to help control and aim rapid fire elemental magic.
- One very thick and fluffy winter cloak to help Katsuki stave off the winter cold. And look the part of some sort of fantasy character... Izuku might have gotten a little carried away on how it looks.
- a new apron!
- One new hoodie! Looking familiar!

[Izuku didn't want to make a big deal out of this... Not when they're not really the overly fussy sort of people when it comes to gestures- like this. And honestly he can't remember a time where Katsuki even got something like this before so...

He did his best. A little box of crudely made homemade chocolates with a hint of cinnamon (he couldn't trust himself to get a spicier version done right...). A simple little box of little chocolates is left on the table for Katsuki to find.]

Kacchan, eat them at your own pace. Have a good day! -Izuku

[ Yeah... They hadn't even really celebrated six months together or anything like that. But they've done Christmas and that's important, right?

Since Katsuki had never received any Valentines chocolates before, he hadn't really thought to make anything or do anything himself. That's why seeing the box with the note. Bakugou feels like. He kind of. Needs to?

Or, well. Maybe he'll do that for White Day. That's when he should get a return gift. So he'll get what he needs to prepare for it around that time. Instead he takes the box and goes into Deku's silly alchemy room. ]

Oi Izuku...

[fullgauntlet]

[Luckily Izuku isn't expecting anything back. He knows it's not really a big deal or that Katsuki probably wouldn't think of doing something. He's not fussed about it. He's just happy to give Katsuki something like this for the first time...

That's why he jolts a bit when Katsuki comes into the room and he stands and smiles quickly.]

Ah, Kacchan! Did you find it? I hope you don't mind the shape is off... It was my first time making chocolate like that. It turned out okay, I think? If you don't want to eat them, that's okay.

[He's babbling a little!]

[ He might do something else over the weekend. Maybe make a particularly nice meal and not say what it's about. But for now, he thinks that the best thing that Katsuki can do is try the chocolate.

So he's picking up a piece of the chocolate and waving it around. ]

Delivery - 2/14/22

[Some time in the afternoon, Bakugou will find a package set nicely on his and Deku's doorstep, addressed specifically to him. It's a simple enough package, and because Ochako actually knew where he lived, she just got it delivered the proper way, through a courier (and not having her familiar deliver it with fae magic). Inside the box is a clear baggy of what appears to be curry buns!! Ochako knew getting Bakugou just chocolates would probably not go over as well, considering his distaste for sweets, but there are a few candies inside as well. Something that looks like a heart-shaped lollipop, but the color is a scorching red color...and there's a few fire stickers on them, too (probably in case Deku gets to them by accident).

Apparently, chili pepper flavored lollipops are a thing indeed, and some dark chocolate with chili flakes infused within also. Of course, there's also some yogurt dipped strawberries, apples, and pineapples for a more crisp and not as sweet treat. Of course, there's also a note as well.]

Happy Valentines Day, Bakugou!!

Please let me know how those curry buns turned out, I tried a recipe I found online and I'm not sure how spicy they are. A few of my chefs helped out and taste-tested, and said they were okay, but I know you like things hot. Send me a critique or something later sometime, I feel like I could benefit from your expertise in the kitchen, hehe!! ^o^

The lollipops are really spicy though, so be careful if you leave them around... I think Deku's tongue might melt off if he tried one. (Please don't give him one) I just bought those, didn't make them, but I never thought anyone would make spicy candy...guess it fits your preference though, huh? Lucky me!

I'm used to seeing you out on missions, first.
A lot's been changing here lately, so I wanted to know you're safe at least.

On the other hand, I guess I shouldn't be worried at all, since it's Midoriya with you.

It just seems wrong to assume you're fine.

I've been out and about you know. But dealing with this castle and land bullshit is really time consuming.

[ Because it's... SOMETHING to do. Something productive and trying to give people a place to exist after all of the disasters that have been happening here. ]

You sure you're not the one that needs someone to check in on them?
